How We Review Software
Our goal is to help readers make a better decision, not to maximize the number of products we recommend.
1. Define the buyer problem
Every review begins with a use case. A product can be strong and still be a poor fit for a particular buyer.
2. Verify product facts
We prioritize official vendor documentation for pricing, plan limits, core features, program terms and material product claims. We identify when a fact is likely to change.
3. Separate facts from analysis
Verified features and prices are facts. Statements about fit, trade-offs and operational burden are analysis and should be presented as such.
4. Model total cost
Where possible, we consider seats, usage, add-ons, integrations, implementation and likely switching costs rather than quoting only an entry price.
5. Disclose commercial relationships
Affiliate commissions may support the publication. Commercial relationships do not guarantee coverage or a favorable conclusion.
6. Recheck material claims
Software changes quickly. High-impact pricing, eligibility or feature claims should be checked again before major updates or paid promotion.
